Seaweed Salad for Energy and Thyroid Health

"There are many paths to enlightenment.

Be sure to take the one with a heart."

ASIAN SEAWEED SALAD FOR ENERGY AND THYROID HEALTH This seaweed salad is quick, easy, delicious, and nutrient-dense -- and supports a more easeful relationship with your body in general. Seaweeds like arame and wakame are high in vitamins and minerals like Vitamin A, iron, zinc, and magnesium, and help support balanced energy levels, healthy digestion, optimal brain function, thyroid health and radiant skin. I've included a few variations on this recipe below so you can modify it according to the ingredients you have in your kitchen. Truly delicious. Let me know if you make it! Ingredients: ¼ cup arame (soaked for 15 minutes and strained) ¼ cup wakame (soaked for 15 minutes and strained) 1 tbsp grated ginger 1 grated carrot 2 tbsp fresh chopped herbs (like mint, basil, dill or coriander - optional) 1 chopped green onion (optional) 1 tsp sesame oil 1 tbsp olive or coconut oil 1 tsp ume plum vinegar (or lemon juice) 1 tsp tamari (or sea salt to taste) 1 tsp maple syrup (optional) 1 squeeze lemon 1 tbsp sesame seeds (garnish, optional) Preparation: Strain seaweed after soaking, then combine ingredients in a small bowl, preparing the dressing separately and adding according to your taste. Enjoy!
