Why do we prepare almonds in this way?

Ayurveda teaches us that the skins of almonds are difficult to digest. By soaking them overnight, we make it easier to remove the skins and also make their nutrients more readily absorbed by your body. Menstruating women can leave the skins on as it will help her menstruation.
