Homemade Cacao Drink

Updated: Dec 14, 2023

"Be content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.” ― Tao Te Ching

Raw cacao is a healthy alternative to the "cocoa" or chocolate that's available in most grocery stores. Raw cacao is a superfood known for being high in antioxidants, iron, magnesium, potassium, zinc, and calcium -- most of which commonly available chocolate has lost through chemical processing.

Raw cacao is also a natural aphrodisiac and antidepressant known for promoting feelings of love and well-being. It is generally grown organically and fair trade, and supports local indigenous agriculture.

Enjoy guilt-free, in moderation. Cacao is a stimulant, so most of the time, you will want to avoid this drink at bedtime.
