An Easy Tea to Boost the Digestive Fire

Ginger is a supreme medicine in the fall and winter to boost circulation, digestion and immunity. Enjoy this warming drink 30 mins - 1 hour before meals.

1. Boil 1 cup of water in your kettle 2. Add 1/4 teaspoon of dry ginger powder and one squeeze of lemon and stir. Allow to steep for 3-5 minutes. 3. Reduce heat by adding 1/4 cup cool water 4. Add 1/2 - 1 teaspoon raw local honey

Briya is a long-term student of Berdhanya Swami Tierra, a female mystic and shaman of South American origin. She also holds studies in ayurveda at Anjali School of Ayurveda (Kerala, India) and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Ottawa.
