What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a 5,000 year old system of natural healing from Ancient India. Known as the 'sister science' of yoga, it uses a combination of self-care, lifestyle practices, herbalism and natural nutrition to help us heal from illness and to restore a natural state of balance and well-being.

Meet Your Facilitator
Briya Freeman first encountered the wonders of Ayurveda on a backpacking trip in India over 15 years ago -- and it changed her life!
For her, learning about the holistic wisdom of Ayurveda just made sense on both a practical and a soul level -- and helped her find answer to many long held questions about the body, the mind, the emotions, the natural world, the spirit, and the cosmos itself.
Ayurveda's practical wisdom also inspired her life's mission of finding natural ways to heal her own body, to balance her mind and emotions, and to create spaces to empower others to do the same.
Briya has been teaching courses in self-healing, meditation and modern mysticism since 2011.
