Ayurveda Experience-4.png

Perhaps you've heard about Ayurveda or natural self-healing, but how does it really work in a practical and modern way?

Join us for this workshop where you will explore the healing science of Ayurveda in an experiential, intuitive way.

Expect special themes of exploration, inspiring spiritual teachings, breathontology practices and group processes to connect you to your body's inner wisdom.

What is Ayurveda?

Ayurveda is a 5,000 year old system of natural healing from Ancient India. Known as the 'sister science' of yoga, it uses a combination of self-care, lifestyle, herbalism and nutrition to support your natural state of balance and well-being on all levels of who you are: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. At its core, Ayurveda teaches you to become your own best healer by empowering a deeper connection with your body's inner wisdom.

What are people saying about our last Ayurveda experience?

"I had almost forgotten how powerful it is when women come together in a circle to explore the worlds of healing and spirit -- it's magical! Men are always welcome too but this was perfect. Briya is extraordinary with her knowledge and vision. She gave us each a pulse reading and recommendations to align with our bodies' wisdom that were very personalized and truly refreshing. As women, we are subject to so much conditioning about how our bodies should be and this was something very different, truly inspiring and pivotal. Thank you so much Briya for sharing your knowledge." - SG

"My deepest gratitude for the unique opportunity to sit with a wonderful teacher and group of women who share common interests. Briya's thorough introduction to Ayurveda definitely sparked my curiosity; to be able to leave the session with tools that I could immediately put into practice made Ayurveda seem even more accessible and applicable in my quest for a healthier lifestyle." - KB

"Friday night I participated to a Ayurvedic experience workshop given by Briya. As soon as I entered the room, the welcoming atmosphere and soothing energy made me forget my busy day. I came into the session with no specific expectation, but quickly go into the Ayurvedic experience by drinking coriander seeds infusion feeling the cooling and calming effect on my body and my mind instantly. How can so little can do so much!

The information provided by Briya on  the  Ayurvedic basic principles was easy to understand and above all accessible to experience through different senses as we were learning. [...] I am leaving the session curious to learn more!  A new channel of knowledge and natural resources is crossing my path and I am not sure where all this will bring me. I have the sense of only touching the tip of an iceberg.  Possibly life changing. Thank you Briya for your generous heart." - Sylvie

Meet Your Facilitator

Briya Freeman first encountered the wonders of Ayurveda on a backpacking trip in India over 15 years ago -- and it changed her life!

For her, learning about the holistic wisdom of Ayurveda just made sense on both a practical and an intuitive level -- answering her many long held questions about how the body, the mind, the emotions, the natural world, sould and spirit interact, as well as our place in the cosmos itself.

Ayurveda's wisdom inspired her to find solutions for healing her own health challenges, and she is passionate about creating spaces which empower others to do the same.

Briya has been teaching courses in self-healing, meditation and modern mysticism since 2011.
